It depends on what happens in Iran to say. Right now, their are not the politican votes to declare war on anyone who does not first directly attack the US Military. The Dems are too risk averse. That is what happens when you put a grandma as the Speaker. Time to get out the Reigndeer and --- when you know how the song goes. Go get her Rudolph!!

No, there is no need. The pres of Iran is losing support in the country. As oil revenue falls due to lower prices
(due to lower demand and increased stock holds) He unable to give away profits to the poor(same problem Venezuela's pres is having) He's power becomes less when he cant buy the votes of the poor and the Itolya's have unleashed his critics to say what they will because he is weakened. If the current trend continues he will be out of office at the next election. He may be gone no matter what the due to what the Itolyas have started.
PS This is why Chavez (Venezuela's pres) wants to increase his powers and remove term limits while he still can.

If Iran declared conflict on us Obama might want to thank god because he can now rope all of NATO into the invasion. If Iran fired off a nuke we would want to likely reply with nukes to boot and thoroughly wreck the rustic. I doubt Iran has the missile technologies to hit the US yet they could hit Israel or maybe then Israel has some really sturdy missile protection, say a a million/3 possibility of capturing it down over Syria previously it hits. i imagine a conflict with Iran might want to push the military to its limits, we does no longer be doing Iraq 2.0 it would want to be mass slaughter of any civilians who stood as a lot as us this time round. Iran is a lot extra prepared for a strive against than Iraq became so we does no longer have the ability to play with the youngster gloves on even as handling them. frequent it would want to be very unsightly for anybody.

We have a dangerous president right now. He seems to have no idea of what to do unless it involves an oil co. There are movies about the poor choices that this man made & that hasn't stopped him. I do not think he has a good grip on reality so he just might. I am getting out of here & taking my family with me back to a reality based 3rd world country this spring. Good luck & good night. Wag the Dog- a great political movie

Why would we go to war with a peace loving country that Iran is? Maybe cause it will nuke some other peace loving country, or export terrorism instead of oil? If we are provoked we will do what ever we need to do.

The military is far too stretched for this to happen, but that could explain the talk of a "surge" in the military numbers.

Hell no. We're already bogged down in Iraq, and the Democrats are just waiting for an excuse to impeach Bush. He's not about to give them one.

No....... based on current troop strength and how strung out our military is, we couldnt afford to open a war up on another front and expect to win.
