4 years, unless you attend an online university! Depending on what type of degree the difference will vary! I'm getting my accounting degree online and in my case, I actually need a master's so that I can sit for the CPA exam. Another example is my husband is in nursing school and a 2 year degree RN makes the same as a 4 year degree RN, unless you are in a management position, then the 4 year degree RN would make more money! Like I said, it all depends on what degree you are seeking!

4 years, sometimes longer - like 4 1/2 to 5 years, depends on the requirements of the university and the Major.

A better degree = more qualifications = a higher paying job.

I graduated in 1998 so now am 26 years old now. After high school grad. I have gotten married, 3 kids, took 3 years off to work full time. So now am graduating BS May 2007 FINALLY

Bottom Line: Doesn't matter if it takes you the avg. 4-5 years or a long 10 years.
IT'S LIKE A CAR RACE - EVERYONE KNOWS IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU WIN BY AN INCH OR FOOT A WINNER IS A WINNER ... GRAD!!!

A Bachelors is four years a master is six, and a Doctorate is eight. Ideally, but if you can get your Gen eds of your back quickly you could could get it done in maybe three (for you Bachelors).

I did my Bachelor of Science in 2.5 years, but I took a couple of 18+ unit semesters (3.7 GPA:-)) I don't recommend doing that way-way stressful! I am now in a Masters program and my study plan is laid out for a five year run...why do it? can you say show me the money!!!

3-5 years. Usually people first decide on the career, then get the degree if employers want that.
