For the incorrect motives - - yet I blame him too. Bush has spent like a drunken sailor, getting in the process the better revenues from the tax reform and then persevering with to spend better than that, hence weakening the dollar. Bush's %. for Federal Reserve Chairman has decrease the Federal money value returned to 2.00%, pushing liquidity into the marketplace, it is in turn funneling it into potential. Bush has executed not something to extend drilling or refining means, or to streamline EPA emissions rules, which selection by using area and season (because of the inefficiencies thereby created, it may be greater value-effectual just to take an fairly stringent mix of the countless blends and prepare it universally than it is now to alter between the countless blends). He has executed not something to extend terminal cabinet area. yet it fairly is a protracted record - 70% of the upward thrust interior the cost of gas over the final 5 years is a function of the vulnerable dollar. and that's a straightforward rely of economic self-discipline - breaking out the veto pen whilst there is too lots pink meat interior the bill. perhaps it is the actual value of the conflict - - with the intention to maintain Congressional investment for it, Bush supplies you to look any incorrect way on earmarks and different puppy initiatives.

When prices are high, the Republicans control the price of gas, because they are friends of the oil industry. When prices are low, Democrats are in control of the price of gas because they are friends of the "little guy".
Of course about a third of the price of gas is taxes, and Republicans are usually against taxation. Also, environmental laws, pushed by Democrats, also increases the price of gas. So, the truth is almost exactly the opposite of what some claim. Go figure.

You need to do some research. Gas prices dropped, hit a low right around the election, then have been going back up since. Bush isn't responsible but his pals in the oil companies to whom he has been so very, very good just worked a little payback. Also, FYI, the democrat congress just passed as one of their first laws a repeal of oil subsidies. Yes, that's right, the US government pays the oil companies subsidies!

Demand for fuel is down because of the mild winter. In a commodity market prices follow demand.

Who did big oil and energy buy into office of the President in 2000, him and the vice president are the ones in control of this. I believe that if Osama Bin Laden would have been hunted down oil prices would have fallen sharply, that is one of the reasons I feel he is still on the loose, it wouldn't surprise me if he is in Saudi Arabia or the US even. Someone knows exactly where he is and they are more than likely being paid off not to disclose his whereabouts.
