I noticed that mold started to appear in areas like near my window. I had it cleaned but are there methods i can use to prevent this from occurring again? I don't want this to appear again and then have it cleaned. And i also don't want to cut down the trees around my house. Thanks.

I would check with a landscaper or nursery in your area - if the moisture is strong enough to cause mold or fungus on your house, you may have a drainage problem... also you may be able to trim some of your limbs to allow some sunlight into the area at least if this is only a "wet season" issue for you......best of luck to you ;)

You could carefully thin the branches to increase the incoming light. Any branches that scrape the house could be pruned off. Then just take out every third one up 10 or 15 feet and see if you get more light. You could spray sulphur around, it helps with funguses. Or reclean where you found mold with bleach once a month.

Call a tree service to "crown thin" the trees to get more sunlight in. Also try raising the crown of the trees by removing lower linbs to increase air flow.
