wait for the next elevator .
i'm in no rush to get out the door trafic is out there and u still have 2 wait

I run and open the doors at the last second, then hold them open and let off a big, stinky fart into the car, then let the doors close and wait for the next car, all the whole shouting "Left you a rosebud!"

I hate elevators, so I usually don't mind waiting.

i usually yell first "HOLD THE ELEVATOR!!!" while im running, but then when im on the elevator and i see sum1 trying to hurry to catch it.....i push the 'close door' button and pretend im trying to hold the 'open door' and act real confused.....

If I have to make a dash for it, I usually prefer to wait for the next one.

i would wait...i don't run unless i am being chased and not always then...but i would not wait patiently...i would likely grumble and cuss and say things like "C'mon...i haven't got all second!" the whole time.
