Try adding some vanilla essence to milk, dipping your hands in them for two to five minutes, and then rinsing your hand with water. Leaves your hand soft and smelling good. :)

As a female you really dont want to use hard soap wash on your hands because it may dry out. but i would use it and then use a softer soap right after. that should work.
I used to work for Auto zone so i should know something about messing your hands up

It's not just on your hands but on your face, any exposed skin and your hair (beneath your hair net).
Grease droplets tend to penetrate everything.
When you get home, take a shower and use baking soda as an exfoliant. Put a small amount in your palm, and rub it in circular motions on your skin.
Baking soda will absorb the grease and also exfoliate your skin.

a piece of stain less steel will work. i have seen some in dollar store and they absorb odours from garlic, onion etc
