My very first question on questions and answers was about why would a mother not let her own son see his loving grandmother.I had many kind replies and a couple of not so kind ones. I am a woman of faith! I have prayed and never given up hope. Tonight my ex-daughter-in-law called me and let me talk to my grandson. I was so happy! I get to see him tomorrow after school! Oh I am so happpy I could just burst. I was a good Mother-in-Law and a good Grandmother and I am so happy! Are you happy for me?

I am very happy for you !! After our son died his wife doesnt let us see the kids much---but we are delighted each and every time a visit is allowed. God has a plan--keep praying for his will to be done !!!!

I'm happy for you. I'm not trying to be mean, but since you said she's your ex-daughter-in-law, and she has sole custody of her son, she can kind of depict who can see him, unless you take it to court but that would only apply to the father to order visitation rights.
