The marks aren't scratches. They're actually the pan rubbing off on the sink. I wouldn't use an sos pad or comet because those can dull the sink. Bon Ami is a good choice, or the Kohler cleaner someone else recommended. Also, you can cut down on those marks by using a cleaner that contains wax (like the Kohler cleaner) or just regular car wax. It puts a sort of buffer between the sink and the pan.

I would say the silver streaks are aluminum or some other type
of metal scratched into the porcelain coating.
Porcelain is a glass coating and should clean up with scrubbing.
The pans you are using maybe scratching a streak onto the surface and if you stop putting them into the sink the old scratches
will slowly disappear as they will wear off. Happy dish washing.

The silver streaks are scratches from pots. The best way to remove them is with a special cleaner that you have to purchase at your local janitorial supply store. It contains hydrochoric acid, the higher the percentage the better. You do have to work in a well ventilated area, and be sure to not to get any on your skin. Pour a small amount of cleaner on a green scratchy pad, you barely have to rub the area and it is gone. Be sure to rinse well with water.

On cast iron it is safe to use original Comet, and a scrubbing pad (or even Brillo/SOS). It works on my sinks, and tub.

Use Soft Scrub or Bar Keeper's Friend cleanser and a little "elbow grease". That's what I do.
