O.k listen to me i LOVE soccer and i'm GOOD at it, first of all before training warm up for 20 minutes strech, run but i'm not saying get tired just run slowy and don't drink anything, and when you are playing drink the water make your mouth wet but don't drink it spit it out ! , the cramps feel like if you cannot move your leg and you will have to strech and move, they also have a spray that help you, but they only use it in professional soccer games. good luck and i think chicks who plays soccer are hot, good luck and maybe we can play together one day, lol.

stay away from food for three hours before hand but stay hydrated. don't drink too much too fast though because thats the most common cause of cramp and make sure its only water or still lucozade you drink. anything fizzy or carbonated is going to going to give you cramp

dont eat or drink shortly before tryouts. but drink a lot of water throughout the day, it will help you out when you're running. and ALWAYS stretch out, before practice, it seems meaningless but it helps prevent a lot of injuries.
