I have never hit anyone, or have been violent not been in any fight or been angry or upset, other then a death in the family. I am friendly to everyone and was wondering what is a pacifist and is that pretty much what a pacifist is ? Thanks

A pacifist is someone who is morally or philosophically opposed to war.
Some people study pacifist doctrine in order to qualify for contientious objector status in time of war.

NO you probably are a pacifist because you don't get involved in problems that might be dangerous. The police and military do that for you while you sit and slam then on Yahoo Answers. And we say Thank You for staying out of our way!

A pacifist is someone who opposes war, even when it's necessary.
The opposite would be someone who supports war, even when it's not necessary, but I don't really know what the word for that is.
