in highschool i'm donig a reprort on favorite bands in 4 period (MUSIC) .. i can't pick one i love Green Day when the were not big .. But i listen to Ramones all the time since i was 6 .. Now that my dad passed i listen . Well that is the only thing i listen too .. So what will you pick !?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?

I love The Ramones...got one of their T-shirts on right now...sadly, as was mentioned, 3 of the 4 original members are dead....listen to The Buzzcocks & hear who Green Day rips off...also, The Damned, who are the only band better than The Ramones to me!!!

Ramones- they are a classic. It is sad that they are all gone now as well.
Personally my favorite punk band though is Rancid.

green day has opened assorted doors for different bands. billie joe produces a crap load of stuff for different bands and he's even in different bands. green day is large however the ramones win ;)
