stockton played with less talented teamates than nash does now.

so..i guess i can say stockton. (he only had malone, nash has stoudamire, marion, etc. etc.)

I would say John Stockton is better, mostly because he came first and created the model, Steve Nash took the model and improved upon it.

But Stockton made Karl Malone a 2 time MVP, and won consistently with inferior talent.

It's almost like saying Usher is a better dancer than Michael Jackson. No matter how good Usher is, Michael was the first and does it the way it's supposed to be done.

I think stockton is better than nash, but nash is the stockton of the NBA right now. Im not sure if stockton has won MVPs in a season like nash has, but stockton lead the jazz to two finals if not he could have lead them to more finals before the 97 season. I think once steve nash leads the suns to the finals he is an equal to john stockton.

I think that John Stockton but without the mailman he wasn't able to do as much where as Steve Nash can play with anyone and make them better...so my vote goes to STeve Nash

different styles with excellent passing ability......I go with Nash by very slim margin. He is future hall of famer.

Stockton was very special in that he could create with the ball. Nash moves very well without ball, and can run the court better than most because of his soccer training which emphasizes bursts of speed. He is ambidextrous with the ball and is capable of scoring points when needed.

I agree - John Stockton. But if that alien ever wins a championship it will be hard to defend John as being better.
