I got 9 new blue jeans for work & they're dark blue & stiff. If I take all of them to a laundry mat what would you suggest I use to lighten & soften those babies; & at what amounts?

Throw in a little bleach and double rinse with liquid fabric softener. That should do the trick.

wash with soap and fabric softener.
then wash 3-4 times. that should take out some of the stiffness. also you can soak the jeans in softner over night. just put them in the washer and let it start. then stop before the water goes out.

throw tennis balls in the dryer when you dry them

and add extra fabric softener when you wash them

trust me! the tennis balls work like a charm :)
