4 tens.
8 fives.
1 ten, 6 fives.
2 tens, 4 fives.
3 tens, 2 fives.

Good yah? I don't know the difference between a nickel and a dime... forget which is which, hence the "fives and tens". Not American.

Oh right, you have quarters too in America. You can do the rest.

The only way I can see to do it is to count them.

You can't use more than one quarter: start there.

1 quarter, one dime, one nickel
1 quarter, one dime, five pennies
1 quarter, three nickels
1 quarter, two nickels, five pennies (and that's eight, so we can't use any more pennies)

Now the largest coin we can use is a dime:

Four dimes
Three dimes and two nickels
We can't use a nickel and five pennies because we'll go over 8 coins.

Two dimes and four nickels
And again we can't use pennies because we'll go over eight

One dime and six nickels

Eight nickels

And that's as far as we can go. That's nine ways, unless I've miscounted.
