Whenever my father came late from the office. In those days British ruled and I feared my father, being a freedom fighter, would be arrested. Then I feared his illness.

I was always afraid of leaving any part of my body (arms or legs) hanging off of the bed. My brother had me so scared that there was a boogy monster under my bed and that he would get me, I snuggled up tight and made sure nothing was hanging off. This phobia lasted for years. Big bro's can be so mean!!!

I don't know why, but mine was sirens, like ambulance or fire sirens. I went into a tailspin. I'd break out in a sweat and my heart would go 100 mph, and I would hide for the rest of the day. I never did figure that one out, but I got over it, thank God.

I remember when I realized one day that you can die, just the fact that this exsists. No particular reason. Was afraid not to wake up in the morning.
