Rose petals can be used in potpourri, closet sachets, homemade candles, handmade paper, pressed flower pictures.....For potpourri you can let the air dry them and mix with other dried flowers and scent them with scented oils the same With the sachets, except you place it inside of a muslin or cheese cloth and tie with a ribbon and hang in your closet, or place in a drawer or cupboard. For candles, try fast drying them by using silica crystals( you can get it from your craft store or florist) and place in the wax for a decorative look. Handmade paper using petals and seed and leaves mixed in look beautiful and the same for the pressed flowers pictures. Hope this helps??

I have a bird bath in my garden and I place colorful, fresh rose petals in the water and watch the breeze carry the petals around the bowl.
I also have an ornate bird bath in my home and I place floating candles in it, and float rose petals around the glass bowl for an effect. Rose petals also has a wonderful scent!
I'm a professional photographer, so I have used this idea for glamour portraits.

You can also dry them and make pot pourri.. I use roses that are no longer fresh looking, pop the petals off and scatter on a screen and place in the garage to dry. Some blooms smell good, but some do have little odor or not that good of an odor.

If you have a lot of rose petals you can make beads from them. I have two beautiful rosarys and the beads are made from the rose petals from my mother-in-law and father-in-law's funeral rose boquets. These were made by nuns and are quite stunning. If you are not Catholic I am sure you could make the beads into jewlery. The beads dry black, but they could be painted if you so desire.

Tea or rose water...But I wouldn't suggest the floral kind for that, they have chemicals on them, ones out of your own garden will suffice as long as you don't spray them. wild rose petals work for this as well. Another use is like potpourri in one of those warmer things or in a pot on the stove with boiling water.
