Yancy wrote two novels that together contained 580 pages. His longer novel has 160 more pages than his shorter novel. How many pages are contained in Yancy's shorter novel?

i think its 210 for the shorter novel

580 - 160 = 420

460 / 2 = 210

Hence, shorter one is 210

If you take 210 + 160 = 370 (the longer one)

370 + 210 will get back 580
