What are the on-court decorations at the Australian Open in the corner? They appear to be fruit of some sort.?

Specifically asking about the orange and red decorations (again, I think fruits) in the corners in Rod Laver arena on court

Haha, they are flowers! I went to the Open on Saturday (& also many previous years) and they are some kind of flower :)

I'm watching the match Nadia Petrova - Serena Williams right now and I think you're right. The yellow decorations look like Golden apples to me. Most probably plastic apples...

they look like some kind of round,closed mouthed flowers to me.i dont think they would put fruits as decorations,but flowers are likely.
