If someone lies to you & secretly does stuff behind your back, even though they know it's causing big problems in your marriage...could they really love you as they say they do or is that a lie as well?
Can someone claim to be sorry for hurting you then go on to do the same things all over again....that's not really loving someone at all is it? I've been living in false hope here haven't I?

If you'd done something to cause your partner to lose trust in you & then felt sorry for your actions...would you continue, but keep hoping your partner didn't find out again or would you try to stick to what you promised,
If you carried on as before yet continued to deny it...is that really being in love with someone? would you behave like that towards someone you love, like really love...someone you really didn't want to lose.....

If they really loved you they would not be doing this to you and to the marriage.... If this continued i feel that you would have grounds for divorce.

To answer your first question, no they do not love you as you as they say they do and it may be a lie if they do say it. Love is as the dictionary describes it a strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties a warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion it is unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another. So Loyal is one of the meanings how can one be loyal if they lie?

Second question they can be sorry for the one time they may mean it too but if they still hurt another than they weren't truly sorry in my opinion.

Third the person should stick to the promise if they really care, if they continue behind the others back it is not honest or loyal.

Lastly If you continue on and deny it then it shows that person doesn't want to be with the other and should end it and it would stop the hurting that will surely come from it. It is a greater hurt when you deny the feelings and are actually really hurting each other not just the one party. It would be best to let go and move on before more pain and misery arises.

I hope this has helped you.

well---i think you already know the answer to that. if it looks like sh..t, and it smells like sh..t, then its sh..t. crude, crass, but true. some people are incapable of really putting their own selfish needs and desires aside.and unfortunately those same people tend to have lots of needs and desires. no, dear. a decent, remorseful person does not continue with the same patterns of behavior over and over again.and they may feel comfortable living with the lies,so they dont feel the need to stop. ( we usually only stop behaviors that we find hard to live with, because we feel guilt from it, or physically uncomfortable) sounds like this person thinks they are doing just fine in their own skin.but in reality, they probably have many unhealthy issues that you will never get them to acknowledge or address. im so sorry .you will find all the courage you need to get through this, because you are not lying to yourself anymore best wishes

A lot of people don't know what love is. They think they love you, but don't. Someone with truly deep feelings for someone wouldn't consider hurting them. Thus, second guess them, it must not be love.

let's make this short & brief....

IF A MAN REALLY LOVES YOU, THEN HE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO UPSET YOU. YOU WOULD NOT HAVE THESE PROBLEMS. A MAN THAT REALLY LOVES YOU IS GOING TO MAKE YOU HAPPY EVERY DAY.

remember that....
