It is a small spot, but it is in a noticeable place-- the crotch seam area. I used shout, washed in cold water, then dried and it must have set in in the dryer. Any tips? Please, they were a christmas gift from my mom, and I REALLY love these pants!!!

I have heard that if you wet the area with cold water and then put dish detergent on the stain (let that set for a minimum of 10 minutes) and then wash, it should come out.

I always use Goop on stains. It comes from the hardware or discount store in the automotive section. Just rub some on the stain, let it set for a few minutes and wash.
Peroxide also works well, just rub some into the stain until it comes out.

try taking a cheese cloth or very thin cloth and placing it over the stain and then ironing it (with no steam)then move the cloth around to a clean area and repeat ironing until all grease is gone from pants. The heat makes the grease loosen up, and absorb into the cloth or towel. It can be time consuming if the stain is large, but keep it up and it should eventually lift it all up. Good luck!

Try peroxide. It's good for a lot of stubborn 'organic' stains. It might be to late. but worth a try

New pants. If I'm not mistaken, they're making some right now.
