Maybe they did it for ratings? I don't like it at all.

As a fan of American Idol, this is what I find annoying. The judges have always been completely honest about their opinions, especially Simon. Whether you agree or disagree with them, they still give their opinions. Last night after Simon ripped on the one goofy looking kid, everyone took offense to that. Why?! It's season 6 for goodness sake, get used to it! If the average American went to go audition and was going to be on TV, then they are asking for criticism from the judges if they sing like crap or are not your average looking person. I do not know why people get so worked up about it.

I think the are! I know Paula is a little out there because it's said that she's doing some kind of drug, Simon is still himself, and Randy was just being harsh!! I think they are being meaner because they really want people to know what to work on, and why they weren't being picked. Hey, they need GOOD singers! Not bad ones!!

yes they are definitely Rude!!! Simon hasn't really changed ,, he is actually nicer,, OR maybe he just seems nicer now that Randy and Paula now thinks that the sun rises and sets on them.there is no reason to be as hurt full as they are.These people that they are insulting has feelings,,, I also have thought the cause of the nasty attitudes is because they ARE sick of these hope fulls THINKING they can sing,, when in reality{ well you know what I mean}and feel that they are wasting their time. I think the auditions are the best!!!EVEN if we do laugh at the contestants...

People need to know what it's really like to work in the biz. You have to have a strong character & thick skin to survive in the entertainment business. If you really have talent, nothing someone else says to you should phase you....you'll bounce back. Some of these idol wanna-bes really do suck, they've just had people around them lying to their faces.

OMG..... I don't watch it often because of it. But I watched it last night and that was ridiculous. I felt bad for those people.The guy he said looked like a monkey.. what the hell is this? real professional ,huh. And we wonder why our youth act like they do... People can't help the way they look. I don't remember all that crap when "Star Search "was on. I know it's TV but come on. With all the publicity about the show I'm sure it will raise their ratings. I won't be one of them !

I hardly even watched the show and it shocked me how rude they are this year. I think it is much more excessive than previous years. Especially Paula who is normally sweet, is becoming a little more vicious.
