1) Start with single words, like, "job" or "house" or "land" or "diamonds."
2) Expand each noun with descriptive words. For example, "great job in the mountains" or "a big house with five bathrooms and a dog fence."
3) Continue to embellish each idea with more adjectives until you have a paragraph for each one.
4) You are on your way to a great dream journal. Go for it!

When you first wake up in the morning-or whenever you sleep- try to record your dreams first thing when you wake up in the morning and then at the end of the week go back and listen to each dream and try to write something about each one and what the dream meant to you. You may discover that some of your dreams are things that happen later on. Maybe this will help. Also get a book or two about the meaning of dreams if you don't have one. I hope you are soon able to start your journal.

oooh dream journals are fun. What you do is:

put your journal at the foot of your bed or nightstand so you can immediately remember to write as soon as you wake up. you usually dream around 4-5 dreams a night. Write down things such as people, places, colors (black or color?), smells, touch etc. If you're waking up and can't remember your dreams, set your alarm clock a few minutes early to "catch yourself in the act" of dreaming. good luck!

Just write all the things you remember, color, setting, people, animals, what they were doing, colors, noises, buildings, actions, feelings. no need to sensor what you write. just write it all down and eventually you will remember you dreams more and the dreams will start to show a likeness to each other.

Try a tape recorder. Speak about your dreams, then write them down later.

you can desrible teh enviornment, then a feelings, and what you saw in the dream. just go with face how you walked and so on.

for writing, if you can't have the strong passion on it and feel touched from your own writing, then, your writing never works.
