I'm not sure what the Raiders WILL do, but here's what they SHOULD do: go all out to get Shaub, than trade down and draft Peterson. I wouldn't mind them sticking with Aaron Brooks though. His stats sucked, but he was banged up and his O=Line couldn't block if their mom's lives depended on it.

The Raiders should explore trading Randy Moss (and possibly a 2nd or 3rd round pick) to Philly for Jeff Garcia. Garcia is good but does not have many years left in him, and is not worth trading the first overall pick for. Then they should take JaMarcus Russell from LSU with the first pick of the draft. This will address their immediate and future needs at quarterback. The second thing they need to concentrate on in free agency and the draft is the offensive line. If these things happen the Raiders will be an immediate contender, as they already have an excellent defense in place.

i might pass with Trent green. He has the right upside. He throws for yards and ussually has a million-2 touchdowns a week. he's a robust tide over selection and he won't be replaced. The Phins signed him to be the starter. If it have been week 12 then he may be replace in the event that they have been nonetheless dropping to get their rookie some exp.

If they have a SHRED of brains, they'll draft Jamarcus Russell from LSU. Huge athlete with a CANNON! They'd be STUPID not to get him in there.
