I saw this movie back in the 80s and I have no idea what it was called. It was on TV. It was about this guy that reported that his wife was missing. He lived in a wintery mountainous town. The sheriff and a priest brought back this other woman to him and they were trying to convince him that she was his wife. He thought he was going crazy. In the end they end up taking him off in a cop car. There was some fraud going on where the priest and the "wife" were in kahootz. This story probably makes no sense because I was young when I saw the movie, but I remember it and just want to figure out what the movie title was.

Ah, I've seen this movie, for the life of me I can't remember what it was called. It was on tv (again) a few months ago.

If I remember I'll edit this answer.

**Edit** - I told you I'd be back =)
The movie is called "Vanishing Act". Released in 1986.
In this made-for-TV mystery a man on his honeymoon reports his wife missing to the police. When she returns, he finds that she is not the woman he remembers marrying, although all evidence points to the contrary.

Director: David Greene

Cast: Elliott Gould, Margot Kidder, Mike Farrell, Fred Gwynne
