I have lived in two different houses in the past 5 years, and in both houses, I consistently burn out light bulbs when I turn them on. At least 2 a week, up to 5 a week in various rooms. My husband and visitors to my houses have never had this problem. It seems to just be me. Has anyone ever had this problem? What do you think?

Someone once told me that some people have more energy than others - do you believe this?

Sometimes when I walk under streetlights they go off. Or, more and more often lately, they turn on. Despite that, I think the whole thing about some people having more energy than others is a myth. I mean maybe they do, but it's not enough energy to short out a light bulb. Anyway, I recommend fluorescent bulbs. I've had some of those for years and years, and not a one of them has died on me yet.

first of all, you should be attentive to what variety of voltage your easy demands, then verify the bulbs for what they are waiting to deal with. It seems such as you have the incorrect bulbs on your easy. in case you have a flourescent easy fixture, it is conceivable that the ballast is undesirable. i % to advise which you detect assorted those issues out, then bypass to a house Depot or Lowe's and communicate to somebody interior the lighting fixtures branch and tell them what you discovered. they must be waiting that can assist you you.

Well, I know in this apartment I've rented for the last four months, I've replaced my "1-year" bulbs in several fixtures, several times. I think I need to ask the landlord about it.

I think your house has more then 120 volts coming out of receptacles and light fixtures. Have someone check them out with a volt meter.

This used to happen in our previous house, which was haunted. I just asked the spirits to stop blowing out my lightbulbs and believe it or not, it really stopped !!!
