Geometry, sometimes, is brute memorization of definitions and formulas.

Here's an idea. Write down all the key terms on flashcards. Work on each one at a time-- if you have someone quiz you, you're much more likely to remember it (or so studies show). Then maybe for like complementary angles, you could have people give you a random number under 90, and you can calculate the complementary angle. You could get people to draw random angles and you could practice measuring them. I know it's dorky but at least it's a little more hands-on than textbook re-reading.

One thing to remember when studying anything is that the more sensory inputs you use, the better. That means to not only read about geometry (sight), but also to draw the figures with your instruments and/or sketch them (kinesthetic [muscle] + touch senses) and say the information, answer the questions, and figure out the problems out loud (vocal and hearing). When you do the test, you'll probably be using all of these except the last two - although you can silently whisper things to yourself as long as nobody else hears you! The other thing to do, also for any test, is mental rehearsal - close your eyes, and imagine yourself going to school, going into class, getting the test, doing the test (remember, easy questions first, difficult questions last) and passing with flying colors. Do this several times before the test, and you'll be surprised at your lack of tension during it. I taught math and science for over 30 years - these techniques work!

I just finished Geometry on a block schedule and took the EOC. I'm in 9th grade and Geometry was an absolute nightmare. Honestly, there's nothing I really found that helped study, you can try the McGraw-Hill website though.

yeah, studying is the pits, I concure. but the best way to tackle studying (for anything) is to just do it. do homework problems and example problems, then check your answers to make sure you're doing it right. after a while, reward yourself. get a softdrink or eat a snack. after 15 minutes, get back to studying for a little while. Good luck!
