165 mph in a modified '74 Chevy Nova. It was while I was in the Army on highway 171 between Ft. Polk and Rosepine, Louisiana. 3:00 in the morning, not another car in sight. Was there alcohol involved? What do you think!

106 - thats as fast as my car goes... :( it shuts down at 106. i was doing 90 on the highway in a construction zone - speed limit was 45. cop pulled up next to me and told me my tire was going flat. then he just drove on past me.
