Can someone tell me why the black race is discriminated against?

All you need to do is have an automatic rifle in your place, and 9mm in your car, and you will be safe. blacks arent the only ones who are disriminated. asians, hispanics, even whites. but discrimination is usually brought upon us through the media, depending on where you live. also when we are young, we may have picked it up from our parents or have heard it elsewhere, therefore we are kept with that knowledge. some people discriminate because of feelings of superiority or ignorance.

because people are jealous of us and to feed on that jealousy, they want to believe every statistic and news they read & see to justify their hatred or some will look at National Geographic and see a bunch of African women who are topless & African men who are half naked hunting with a spear for food. Blacks can get by on the streets saying words like "Cracka" or "Whitie", when if a white guy goes on a street and says "*****", they are instantly tossed down by a gun. You know, in all my text books, it says "African American this" and "African American that" and "white this" and "white that". i think the history of racism this country has experienced is still fresh in the ouths of others, and therefore, they spit it onto their kids, and it rolls of of their tounge, as quickly as it went inside their ears. but then again, sadly, there are blacks who prolong certain stereotypes, as if confirming others prejudgements, and cause discrimination to be furthured.
