I say wash after each wear but my friend Stephanie likes to re-wear 2 or 3 times between because she says laundering wears jeans out

Well she may be right about the wearing out but I like them tight and I really like that feeling of clean clothes.

I launder mine after each wear. I don't think it wears them out, but I may be wrong. I think I may overdo the washing, but I am in them all day long at home and do all kinds of things like clean, cook, care for a child and pet. So, if yours aren't stinky or dirty or have food on them, you could probably wear them more than once.

It's all up to you, not everyone thinks that jeans go dirty after 1 wear, not everyone's body extracts the same liquids and odor, so that's a biggy to consider. It is true that washing wears, not only jeans but any clothing out. I myself will wear jeans more than ones before washing, depending on wear and to what occasions I wore them to. If all is well, I will hang my jeans up again and I'm not saying that they smell but I always spray a quick mist of Fabreeze before hanging them. Now, when the time comes to wash them, I use a detergent that has color protection or color lock (whatever) and always turn them inside-out... this helps especially if the jeans have a certain wash or faded color that you want for it to last. Oh.... and always wash them in cold water, unless of course you want faster fading and wear out or some shrinking.

Always re-wear your jeans to make for less washes. Too much washing stiffens up the fabric while making the threads weaker. Usually holes in the knees are from overwashing and weakening the fabric too much. Just make sure you shower every day, and if you really want a fresh-smelling pair of jeans each time, just throw them in the dryer (LOW heat!) with a fabric softener sheet. Wear two or three times before washing.

I wear my jeans at least twice before I rewash them. Most jeans are made of cotton and can only endure so many washings before they give out. Try to get a couple of go's out of them. If you wear jeans as part of your work attire I can see you washing them every time. But for casual wear I don't see the harm in a couple of times.

I only rewear certain pairs, it seems that if I wear them to my desk job and sit in them all day they get kind of saggy in the hiney and they can't be re-worn, but if I'm going to the club and up all night, I'll rewear them. My around the house jeans get re-worn, mainly because they're about to fall apart from being washed and worn too much

Washing them excessively can prematurely fade and weaken them - hate that! Bleached jeans went out of style decades ago! Wearing 2/3 times is O.K. barring spills or odors.

I don't like washing it after every wear, it does wear out the jeans. I wash it after wearing it twice. Hope this helps.

I re-wear mine. Because they are always really tight right after the wash. After that first day they have loosened a little and are way more comfortable.

I do the same thing. If I wear them for a little while I'll put them away and wear again maybe in a couple days. But I always wear undies.
