Pain in lower left side?

Question

I have been having this pain since 12 this afternoon. It seems to hurt more when sitting down. When I stand and try to walk it hurts like hell. It stops a little when I sit down, but getting back up it is really painfull. If there is a nurse or doctor online, please give advice. I made dr appt. but can't get in until saturday morning? Thanks in advance. No there is no chance of me being pregnant. My husband has a vacetomy, for 1 year and half. Period has been consistent, but haven't started for this month yet. Any information would be gratefully appreciated.

Kindey stones? I have had stones in the past & it hurts like hell when your passing them or if they are stuck causing your kindey to back up with urine. (Although you can still urinate) I'm not a doctor but what your saying lower pain from the side with lots of pain seem as they are comming from the kidney area. If the pain is comming from your back I would go see a doctor a.s.a.p or E.R. To check have your husband tap your back (with enough force) where your kidneys are if it hurts then it could be your kidneys.

To me, sounds like irritable bowel syndrome. The good news is that about the only major things on the left side are the descending colon, left ureter, and the left ovary. Does it burn when you pee? Are your periods different? Do you have diarrhea or constipation? You should follow up with your PCP. He can do a KUB or ultrasound to check for a kidney stone, a US will also look for a cyst or tumor, a UA to check for UTI, and possibly a stool sample. Or they can just do a CT. Sounds like a pulled muscle, get an empty drink bottle and fill with hot water and put on your pain.
Could be gas too, take a pepcid ac .
If all else fails, take a magnet off fridge and put on pain.
rub some olive oil on the pain

yeah, i would go to the doctor. It might be just something you ate...it definitely not an appendicitis because most people have it on their right side. Go to Google.com and type in your symptoms, you might find what's wrong there.
