Does it mean: " i consider myself a man/woman?"
or is it something deeper?
men and women feel differently?

You have internalized male and female characters. To feel like one or the other reflects the dominance of one or the other in your psyche.

Even though I am a man, and have no interest in becoming a woman, I always think of myself as a woman! It's just something I feel. Maybe it's because I'm over emotional... Maybe it's because I want a man to sweep me off my feet!

Sylvia Browne says that our spirits are fundamentally male or female. I think my spirit is female. She also says that if our last incarnation was female, we could still feel female in this lifetime... another factor for me. I was female in my last incarnation.

I always glorify the idea of the strong woman. I love Wonder Woman, Blondie, Betty Boop cartoon characters. I love the strong woman movie stars like Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Jayne Mansfield, Rita Hayworth...

In my family women were in the kitchen taking frankly about intelligent things and fun gossip, where as the men were talking about car, tractors, guns... yuck!...

I am a woman who has accepted this temporary male body which I will make due until I return Home to Heaven.

This is strictly a straight woman's POV: It is more than considering yourself to be a man or a woman. It is a feeling of loving your femininity loving the fact that when people see you, they "There SHE goes". It feels wonderful. You know that you can carry a baby in your body and it is a power that makes you feel connected to every other woman who has ever lived on the planet! It is knowing that this world could not go on without our softness which is also or strength.

It's the way you most identify with one or the other gender. If you have a naturally feminine nature, and you identify with women, then you could say that you "feel like a woman".

It doesn't matter whether you are physically male or female, the gender with which you most closely identify with is most likely your identity as male or female.

When I was growing up as a little boy, I was made to go out and socialize with the boys in the neighborhood or other male relatives. I couldn't identify with them as a male because I somehow knew I was not male, but female inside- I would say that "I felt like a woman", even though physically, I was male.

I hope this helps =P

well there are multiple reasons. since im a girl ill tell you what i think of it. when me and my friends get together, sometimes we do things very dumb and we will say "i feel like a man" if we dress up or sometimes we just honestly say "i feel like a man" for whatever reason. we would say "i feel like a woman" especially now since most of us are through with puberty and "turned into a woman" its very difficult to explain.
