hi there, you can safely sleep on your stomach as long as you are comfortable. the baby is surrounded by so much fluid there's no danger, and alot of people are misinformed about this. Do a search on the net even. When the baby does get too big, you will not physically be able to sleep on your stomach because it will hurt you.
Good luck

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I try to sleep on my left or my right side as much as I can. However, I do occassionally wake up on my stomach or leaning towards my stomach, but when that happens, I just adjust. Sometimes you can't help it. I even use body pillows and it doesn't help!
I had my doctor's appointment with my sonographer and my OB and everything seems to be good so far. All my tests have been negative and the baby still moves constantly!!! He never lets me forget that he's there.
Just try to adust yourself if you catch yourself on your back. I've heard that it's not bad if you sleep on your back, but better safe, right?

Up to the third trimester. They say that the weight of the baby can compress the Vena Cava causing constricting blood flow to both mother and baby. If the Vena Cava is compressed, even in your sleep, you would likely change positions automatically b/c it will make you lightheaded or dizzy and short of breath. The not sleeping on your back thing is over exaggerated.

it truly is frequent to have scary, bright desires even as pregnant. It appears like you're traumatic on your infant. I had a dream in the midst of my being pregnant about getting hit by a motor vehicle and pinned hostile to a special motor vehicle, and all i might want to do became scream "My infant." a tremendous type of the till now desires you've will likely pertain on your infant's protection. later on, as you get in the route of shipping you would possibly want to start up having desires that you're literally not waiting for the medical institution, or desires the position you awaken mad. i have had any such tremendous type of desires those days the position I awaken mad at my honey. besides, your desires are frequent and it is also frequent to be disenchanted, scared, and indignant even as waking up from desires. sturdy success!

No. You'll be too uncomfortable to do it long before you're able to do any possible harm to your baby.

As long as you are comfortable. Mother Nature is smart, when you do something your baby doesn't like, you will feel the pain :)
