Stupid School Bully (I NEED HELP!)?

Question

So i'm in 10th grade..(i know way old for a little school bully). But anyway, i have been coming into class late for like the past week because i have had a headace, and different reasons and everytime i come in this fat black girl (i'm half black so i'm not racist, lol) laughs and like chuckles and obviously talks about me with her little ghetto friends. Yesterday i was even crying when i came in from a seperate issue and she was still cracking up when i walked in. Shes been kinda teasing me all year and usually i would just try to laugh with her but now its too much and i need to do something about it. also i have no friends in the class. she also wants to steal my ipod and phone and money. people say i just act like a little scared white girl and i hate it! what should i do to make her stop..and how should i change in general?

By the way, it clearly sucks to be her, which is why she has to be a bully in order to feel better about herself.

If it's not in your personality to fight back then talk to a teacher or a counselor or your parents. Are you more attractive than this bully? If so, then she is envious of you. Mostly though, bullies like easy targets. Just like in nature, the lion goes after the weakest one in the pack. If she knows you will do nothing she becomes more powerful. You may have to have an uncomfortable moment or two before this is over. One thing you could do when she laughs and talks about you is say loudly to her in front of everyone "did you say something? I couldn't hear you." Bullies hate confrontation because you are showing strength. If you are willing to challenge the bully every time, she will leave you alone eventually. Plus you will not be a target to anyone after you figure this one out. Then you will be able to really help others who are being bullied because you will know firsthand what it is like. Just try to keep racial comments out of your comebacks.Good luck.

Despite all the detail you gave, this is still a slightly unspecific question, but I will try to answer.

Forget her. She obviously lacks intelligence, otherwise she would find something better to do than to talk about other people. Also, those people who make judgments about you just because you don't defend yourself are equally pathetic.

It has been said that ignoring bullies can make them stop. In the real world, merely ignoring bullies can provoke them to do more. So, it is inevitable that you will have to "stand up for yourself", as the saying goes. This does not necessarily mean physical violence. It does mean communication. Tell the girl to leave you alone, and don't act scared of her, or of any of your other peers, for that matter.

You're never too old to be bullied, unfortunately. That sucks that she is being such a jerk to you, and she absolutely needs to stop. You do not need to change, she does; you need to talk to a teacher or the principal, and they will take disciplinary action, because most schools have stringent anti-bullying and anti-harassment rules. If you want to make some more friends, try smiling more and making conversation with your classmates. That can really do a lot for starting a friendship. Good luck!

It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong in relation to this girl. Sometimes bullies back off if you stand up for yourself, but in your case if you're not feeling well, you probably don't have the energy for that. Talk to the teacher and/or a principal and get the school to take care of it. You have the right to study in a stress-free environment. My guess is that the girl wants to pick on you because it helps her not to focus on her low self-esteem. I wonder what would happen if you just started being nice and friendly to her?

Living well is the best revenge. For one reason or another I have been hated all my life. It really doesn't bother me anymore, I almost expect it. You need to remind yourself that it is your life and it's not about her. She is just an idiot and like most idiots they can't help themselves. Expect her and others to hate you because that is one of the few emotions that even mentally challenged people can manage. It is far more difficult to love someone that hates you. When you do this it make you superior and her inferior. If she acts like a dog you don't lower your standards to hers and bark back that is giving your inferior power over you. Remember that you are in school to get an education, even if no one else is and when you get it you are gone. It is not about her, or your friends, or your clothes, or boys etc. School is about getting an education so you can get a nicer job and one day provide for your family. Don't get caught up. Keep the main thing the main thing. She is just one of the many people that will hate you... Who cares. Just keep doing you and be above all the non-sense.

My suggestion and probably the easiest is to stop bringing your Ipod and phone to school. Dont change cause school is minor and you should be who you are. As for her actually beating you up... well the only experience i had with that was to confront the guy but the fight happened any way. Screw the kids in your school they dont know you or you situation, thier opinions shouldnt matter but i know words still hurt.

Another thing is you could go to your guidance councelor and ask to swap that one class and be honest tell him/her why, they are there to help you.

I think you should tell the teacher or somebody to help you at your school. They're not little kids that would laugh at you they'll understand. one day out the blue. pull out a crowbar from your bag. threaten her with it & say, if you dont shut up im guna smash ure head in.

no seriously, take her to one side when shes not with her mates & ask her what the problem is. if u act weak theyll obviously pick up on it and use it to there advantage. be strong & they should get bored after a while.

i fell you girl, they think they alot that at my school. yup people pick on me too. they probably on welfare checks , and jealous of you cause are so pretty. i fell your pain girl. oooouuuum. lemme guess the got bad grades? and they got like 5 different men? girl. you gonna be more sucessful then them! you will be their boss wen you get older watch.
