ok my daughter is doing a Earth Science project for this yr science fair any thoughts on what to do ~ she is in the 2nd grade

Second grade and into the earth sciences already, I like it! I'd recommend seeing if you can collect local fossils and do something on them, like environmental implications (seashells=water, how long ago did they live, what this area was like when they were alive). Paleontology is definitely in the Earth Sciences, and she'd probably find that most interesting. Good luck to her, and have fun!

Raise some plants pick the leaves at different stages of growth. Then display the pressed or dried leaves.
