What about Mitt Romeny? Up here in the Northeast, he looks like a very viable candidate.

It will be a fascinating election.

I would not be at all surprised if the major names for the Dems right now become frontrunners (obama, Clinton) but are then abandoned after some contraversies and some tough issues get delved into. So it could be a very different landscape by Spring '08.

As for the republicans... I think its wide open. I'm starting to think that McCain might not work out as planned. And who knows what will happen with Guliani?

Its very early yet. remember what happened with Howard Dean? he was a shoe in for the nomination, and within a matter of weeks after 'the scream' he was ancient history.

i think of I purely spoke back this comparable question a pair of minute in the past, yet right here is my answer - lower back: i think of that McCain will win because of the fact Obama retains spewing out rhetoric and making all varieties of 'replace' speeches that have not have been given any which skill. He (Obama) provides NO specifics for WHAT variations he intends to make. I recommend, the yank human beings could desire to understand WHAT variations he intends to make - they have an outstanding to understand. additionally, being a senator for a trifling 3 years hardly qualifies him as skilled to run the rustic. it incredibly is the comparable as announcing, "Gee, right now I purely found out the thank you to alter a tire on my vehicle and alter the oil, so as which skill i'm an skilled motor vehicle mechanic". i'm no longer in finished help of McCain, yet i think of he's the 'lesser of the evils' working. i think of that, as time strikes on for the duration of the campaigning of each and every of the applicants, human beings will (with a bit of luck) understand that Obama provides the comparable previous empty speeches, no longer telling the yank human beings what he skill via replace - and that'll be his undoing with getting elected.

In 2000 I thought McCain would have been a good independent. Then Karl Rove beat the crap out of him and he has been limp ever since. Down in the gutter kissing the butts of the wacko religous right. Sad to see. A beaten man could never run and win.

It'll be Hillary Cinton (D) vs. Rudy Guliani (R)
I'm saying that Guliani will win.

The current wave of support that Democrats have will subside by then because Democrats in Congress are still D.C. D.C. politicians, and people don't like politicians. People will go for Guliani because he appleals to people on both sides of the aisle and he's not a D.C. politician.
