IC (dates back to the WWF days)- Bret Hart
US (title brought over from WCW)- Goldberg
I always felt the IC had more prestige, especially now that the IC and US are under the same company.

The intercontinental has more prestige. It has greater value because it represents every country in North America. The us title only represents the United States(Duh that kinda rolls off the tongue lol).

They both are the same to many many greats have held both titles. The Rock, Don Muraco,Mr Perfect, Pat Patterson, Ricky Steamboat,Bret Hart,Shawn Michaels held the IC title. Magnum TA,Roddy Piper,Wahoo McDaniels,Barry Windham,Nikita Koloff,Sting, Harley Race,Rick Flair,Terry Funk have all held the US Title

IC hands down. WWF/WWE really made a name from it as a strong championship reward. As for the greatest?, I would have to say perhaps Bret Hart or Randy Savage.
