I had sex with a condom 23 days ago on the 27 of december. I had a period the day I was supposed to the 8 of jan. It lasted the amount of days it usually does until the 12.and was no lighter then usual. No symptoms of pregnany at all so far. I did use a condom and am almost positive it did not rip. I took a pregnancy test that detects pregnancy 5 days early. I took the pregnancy test 20 days after I had sex and it was negative. I feel like a heartbeat in my stomach. My mom said there is no way I am and so did my husband. They said I had a normal period, took a test, used a condom, and he even pulled out before ejaculating. And my mom said you can not actually feel the babys heartbeat you can only hear it. Especially only 6 days after your period.
Do you think I am, Or am I just worrying myself.?

I think you are just paranoid or scared. If you took a pregnancy test and it came up negative along with using condoms and having a period, the chances of you being pregnant are nearly 0. Also, your mother is right. You can't feel the baby's heartbeat. You can only hear it using a special machine/fetal monitor or sometimes with a stethescope. What you are feeling may be nothing more than blood passing through your veins very rapidly due to your nerves. However, to ease your mind, take a test first thing in the morning the very first time you urinate. Pregnancy hormones are at their highest at this point. If it says no, you aren't pregnant.

If you think you are pregnant, how about taking a PREGNANCY TEST? Does that not make sense? You don't EVER feel a baby's heartbeat in your stomach during pregnancy.

I highly doubt you are. Plus a fetus's heartbeat isn't detectable until you are about 6 weeks pregnant and thats with a doppler only, the fetus would be the size of a small kidney bean, you would not be able to feel it.

You will feel your pulse on several different areas of your own body, but you will NEVER feel the baby's heartbeat. If you took a test and it was - most like you are not pregnant.

Your worrying about nothing. You cannot feel the babys heartbeat. Even if you could it would have to be HUGE.

You have psychological issues that you need to deal with. There is a main artery that travels just to the side of your bellybutton down in towards your legs. You are feeling THAT!

You are worrying yourself. It sounds like there is more going on then just fear of preg. Is there some problems in your marriage? You could also talk to your OB/Gyn about other forms of contraception
