hi - we are in love and talk of marriage all the time he is concerned about affording the right ring for me yet is saving for the house I want - so I want to ask him to remove some of the pressure he is a great man what to I give him whwn I ask?

Go for it - it doesnt alwayz have to be the man asking the woman. Maybe you guys can get a ring once you have the house - like you said you love this guy so it's just about the ring, it's about being with the one you love.

Why not just talk to him...tell him its not about the ring or the house-you want to be together and save for your goals together. Give him a time frame and then ask if you want. I'd give him a hug. No ring needed.

You can ask him as you love him and are talking about marriage... See if he is open to marrying you and propose to him with like a nice necklace or something and a nice poem or love letter.... Make it fun and romantic. Surprise him!
