Many browser's, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc. Have a tool that stores your information that you type in. It doesn't do it everywhere, only when you sign up to a website or something of that nature. They store that information because it's easier the next time you sign up for something. It's also extremely easy to get rid of that info. On Internet explorer, just click tools, internet options, and click Delete Files.

If you are talking about your computer there is a feature called Auto Complete that is turned on. It remembers things you have typed.

If you want to clear or stop it do this -

1. Open up the Browser
2. Click Tools at the top of your screen, then Internet Options
3. Click on the Content tab.
4. Under Personal information, click on the Auto Complete box.
5. On the AutoComplete Settings window click the Clear Forms box to delete your current history

At some point in the past you made this choice in the Preferences folder of whatever e-mail client you use. It's a great time saver, but you can go back in Preferences and change it if you wish.
