Yao Ming is the tallest current player at 7'5" tall. Former Dallas Maverick Shawn Bradley is 7'6" tall. Former Washington Bullet Manute Bol is 7'7.25" tall. Former Bullet Georghe Muresan is 7'7.25" tall as well. There was even a guy on Turkey's national team many years ago named Suleinam Ali Nashnush who was 8' tall, making him the tallest know basketball player in any league amateur or professional.

In the NBA right now, the tallest player is Yao Ming, 7'6, 226cm.
There was a guy named Bradley who retired and was the same height with Yao.
I'm sure Yao is the tallest guy in the NBA now, but old players I don't know.
