...

So "4" just means "start counting by ones until you reach the 'fourth'
item."


So we have this:

1+1 = 2
+ 1+1 = 2

1+1+1+1 = 2+2
4 = 2+2

You are just asking a question for the sake of asking a question arent you? If you can type on a computer keyboard i should hope you would know what 2+2 is.

btw it equals 4.

I'm confused as to why you're even asking this question. 2+2=4. 2+2=? could also be considered and equation, a math problem, or simple addition.

depends on what base you are using.

If it is the common base 10, then 4.
