The only one I know of is Dennis Miller - and he is just a hack slumming on Faux for a buck. Never was very funny.

Mollie Ivins, Maureen O'Dowd, and Dick Morris are way left. Maureen O'Dowd has written numerous anti-Bush books. Dick Morris became element of the Clinton White dwelling house (and later have been given caught having intercourse with prostitutes....guess he could no longer detect a suitable intern)

Probably because you are watching the most Liberal channels on T.V. and Probably get your Political new where all the other Liberals do, Comedy Central The Cobert Report and The Daily Show.. You know those aren't real news programs right? And for the fact that 90% or more of television, newspapers and radio are owned by Liberals!

Certainly a conservative comedian can be successful. They just need to be funny.

I woke up this morning torn inside by what you now pose to us in the form of this insightful question. Perhaps my children's great grandhildren will have the answer, but I doubt it.

But, I'm guessing the people you are describing as conservative actually want to make something of themsleves instead of making less of others. Just a guess though.

Seeing as how most cable stations are part of the Liberal Media, it's not a wonder why there aren't many conservative comedians...they won't allow there to be.

And to think a Democrat wants to bring back the Fairness Doctrine.

Dennis Miller is quite funny, but then he doesn't make a living trashing others, just pointing out the obvious. Guess you don't understand his brand of humor, it's a shame.

I think Bush is a great comedian. That bit he did at the podium where he was looking under it for WMD's was a real riot. SNL could not have done such a funny bit. WMD was a joke and Bush proved it. Aren't you laughing?

What would he say?

"Hey, i was driving around and saw a poor person. Yuk, yuk, yuk."

Or maybe "Did you hear the one about the black guy that got killed by some rednecks?"

Maybe "How about that 3 billion in Katrina aid that can't be accounted for?"

Throughout history most artists in every field have been liberals. Artists hold a mirror up to society, and it's never liberals causing the problems.

Rent the movie 'Bob Roberts."
