Has anyone had problems with this program? I just installed it into my laptop this weekend and since then, my laptop is running extremely slow, sometimes freezing up, so I have to wait for the battery to die for it to shut down. Also having problems connecting to wireless internet since I installed the program.

Is there a way to fix this? Or does anyone know what might be wrong? Would it be Norton causing this or something else?

Don't tell me, their service center will not help you either??? Norton is a system hog and if your computer is 4years old or older then it must be really painful for you to use. I am sorry to tell you this but take this as a lesson learned for you and your pocket book and remove this program. If you do not want to do this then please type in Norton Anti Virus 2006 or 2007 and read the many forums out there of unhappy people. Now that you maybe satisfied of any doubts you might have had go on the web and download a free Anti virus program called AVG. You get free updates and above all it will not hog your computers resources. Good Luck.

Honey,

Norton Security will reduces your PC or Laptop speed for sure. Why?? Norton is extremely invasive , will create errors(their 2007 version is full of bugs) and will eat up most of your memory resources. You have 2 options : Increase your memory by adding more RAM to your laptop or uninstall 2007 and should
for example as nice combo :

AVG free edition( great and popular antivirus)
Zone Alarm free ( very good firewall)

If you need more details email me,

Joe.

If you have the right version for your operating system, you may have to uninstall it and then reinstall.

Just doesn't expect fast telephone tech service, and never download your upgrades from the site. The online tech question thing might help.
