If you are asking that question -- please (for all of our sakes) stay away from Medicine.
All MDs need four years of college, four years of medical school and at least three years in a residency program.

If you don't like school, why would you ever even consider being a doctor of anything? It probably takes the shortest time for someone to get a M.D. (typical 4 years after college) than for someone to get a Phd as they have to get a masters first (1-2 years) and then the Phd which can take an additional 3 or more years.

A clinical doctorate of audiology (AuD) only takes a bachelors degree (4yrs) + 3 yrs of doctoral classes + 1 year of an internship for a grand total of 8 years.
However, you will not be able to write prescriptions and your scope of practice is pretty limited. But, it is a really good profession.

to become a practicing MD, with a license and not just a degree, I believe you need a minimum of 12 years after high school (4 college, 4 med school, 4 residency)

This does seem silly to answer but I believe that a Chiroprator has two additional years after completing a bacholers.
