i dont know but i think Hilary and Joel make a way cuter couple than joel and nicole... he went from sweet little innocent girl to partier.... he should go out with Hilary its like oppisites attract she is like cute little popstar and he is tatooed and in a rock band they so should have stayed together i thought that they were gonna be with each other forever

he was cheating on with nicole richie. he prefers crackwhore Richie over a younglady that is less complicated. he didn't like hilary cus she was dram free and was raised with healthy moral outlook on life. Richie on the other hand a wounded helpless crack head-. Madden wanted a brokenbitch 2 fix and duff was never broken mentally so he couldn't handle a healthy strong mental chic , he prefers weak crackheads.

they sed it's cuz of the age difference, but no one knows for sure. shortly after hil and joel broke joel started going out with nicole richie when he met her at a party. i thought they were a very cute couple, and i hate nicole richie.
