On 'Smallville' does the 33.1 mean anything?

I know it is the code number for the Meta-human project that Luthor is running... but does the 33.1 stand for anything?

Actually, I mean do the numbers themselves stand for anything in particular.

Lionel's secret meteor refining lab at the fertilizer plant was Level 3
Lex's private room, where he kept all of 'Clark is wierd' info was on the Third Floor

and Lex originally had the MF research lab between the 33rd and 34th floor (Hence 33.1) of the LuthorCorp building in Metropolis, before he diversified it to the multiple sites it occupies as of 'Justice'.

He has a different code word for the MF's that was used in 'Static' but I don't recall what that was. I know in 'Thirst' that the vampirism/'K'+rabies was code named THX 1138 which is a reference to George Lucas' first film.

Since this is a program that Lex can not let the public know about, its a hidden floor between the 2 floors that only a few people know about how to access it.
It was explained better just before the holiday break.

I was going to ask that. Im not sure, nor do other people. I think in futrure episodes they will tell us what it means. Tonights episode was great! Hope the Green Arrow comes back soon

It might mean something specific, but it could also be a nod to the '33' on the Labatt's bottle - i.e. a mysterious reference with no known meaning.
