As a firefighter/medic, I have witnessed seven deaths. The youngest was in his 30s, and the oldest well in his 90s.
Some them had people to cry for them, others did not.
Some had several people crying for them. After telling the family the news, I could instantly feel how much they cared for the man.
My only hope is, when I go, I've got someone to cry over me. Without family, what is the point of life?

My parents, brothers and sister, my friends, my partners and ex partners and hopefully all the people that i made an impact, however small, on their lives.
But as you get older you worry more about what they will remember you by after you die not who will cry after you when you die.

Probably not too many folks. But I'm hoping to change that by the time I really die. (I'm giving out free donuts at my funeral, and maybe a latte stand too..) That should get some butts in the seats. ;P

is it who would cry after me if i died tomorrow
or who would cry after me and really mean it
theres a world of difference
the ones it would hurt would be my kids but i`d want them to put it behind them, i never care what other people think about me enough to be the way they want

Suppose it wouldn't matter to you once you're gone.
Your whole life is one big social popularity contest. I'd like to think numbers were irrelevant regarding your final moments on earth.
