wear saftey glasses
wear gloves
make sure long hair and loose clothing is out of the way to avoid contamination or setting self on fire.
wear lab coat
wear closed toe shoes (no sandles-you don't want to drop hot or corrosive stuff on your feet)
no food in the lab
