Some people complain about the human race being too stupid.
I think our problem is that we are too intelligent. We are the only species capable of producing unanswerable questions and having our physical/emotional health dependent on such questions. We are also so psychologically complex that we go insane and kill each other or ourselves over unfullfilled mental needs/questions. The list goes on....
Don't you think that the lesser mammals and the duller humans are much better off, as they say "ignorance is bliss"?

Well, would you like to be lobotomized so you are reduced to having the cognitive functions of a dog? I think you'll find that most people will shudder and answer "no" to that question.
