Yes, typically there are birch and Oak trees within the Country Park of Sherwood.

Yes - it is a leafy forest which would make it deciduous, especially considering the location would have been Europe. Coniferous is pine trees and such

All native English forests are deciduous, only commercial plantings are coniferous.
